📌 Important: Class 300 does not mean 300 PSI. The allowable working pressure depends on material and operating temperature. For example, ASME material group 1.1 carbon steel data lists Class 300 at about 51.7 bar at 38°C, with allowable pressure decreasing as temperature rises.
