PTFE Cushioned Gasket (Enveloped Gasket)

📦 Product Description:

The PTFE Cushioned Gasket, also known as an Enveloped Gasket, is designed for high-purity, corrosive, and hygienic applications. It combines the chemical resistance of PTFE with the resilience of a soft core (rubber, CNAF, or expanded graphite), providing an effective seal under a wide range of pressures and temperatures.

⚙️ Construction & Types:

  • Envelope (Outer Layer): Virgin PTFE or Modified PTFE

  • Cushion/Core Materials:

    • EPDM / NBR / Silicone Rubber

    • CNAF (Compressed Non-Asbestos Fibre)

    • Expanded Graphite

  • Types:

    • Slit (U-type) envelope

    • Milled (Machined) envelope
