Product Description
Chicago Coupling – Hose Shank × Female Thread is a heavy-duty air-line connection fitting used to connect a flexible industrial hose to a male-threaded pipe, valve, manifold, compressor, or pneumatic equipment connection.
The fitting incorporates a serrated hose shank / hose tail on one end and a female threaded connection on the other. The hose shank provides mechanical grip inside the hose and is secured using an appropriate hose clamp, while the female thread provides a secure connection to male-threaded equipment.
Important: This configuration is generally an adaptor/fitting rather than the standard two-lug Chicago mating coupling. If your actual product has a claw connection as well, its configuration should be specified separately.
