The PTFE Cushioned Gasket, also known as an Enveloped Gasket, is designed for high-purity, corrosive, and hygienic applications. It combines the chemical resistance of PTFE with the resilience of a soft core (rubber, CNAF, or expanded graphite), providing an effective seal under a wide range of pressures and temperatures.
Envelope (Outer Layer): Virgin PTFE or Modified PTFE
Cushion/Core Materials:
EPDM / NBR / Silicone Rubber
CNAF (Compressed Non-Asbestos Fibre)
Expanded Graphite
Types:
Slit (U-type) envelope
Milled (Machined) envelope
